How do I use the Photo cards?
Lay the cards out in front of you and gaze at them. Through your eyes, you connect to your subconscious. Notice the card to which you feel most drawn – this essence corresponds to the process ongoing in your consciousness and will support you through this process. Notice the card by which you are repelled – this essence corresponds to the process ongoing in your subconscious.

Which test methods are available?
Radiesthesia – the use of a pendulum. Hold your pendulum over the essence bottle or essence name and check if there is a resonance (attraction) between the person you are testing and the essence.

Biotensor – selection works like the pendulum

Muscle-testing (applied Kinesiology) – 2 people are required
By checking muscle strength while holding an essence, one can determine if the essence is useful to the body.

Pulse testing is certainly the most reliable test – 2 people are required
Touch the essence bottle to the person’s skin while checking the pulse. If, when quickly pulling the essence away, the pulse beats more intensely for at least 7 beats, the body is communicating that the essence is suitable. (The stronger the pulse beat, the greater that essence’s importance to the body.)

Storage and Shelf Life
Although the stock essence bottles are stamped with a 10-year expiration date, they are usable practically indefinitely. For example, I have a bottle from Dr. Bach (really true) that is over 70 years old and is still very good.

The best storage conditions are in the original packaging, in a protected, cool place (not in the refrigerator) and, if possible, away from electrical devices.

When using the essence, take care to avoid touching the dropper to any surface. Close the bottle securely.

Avoid long-term exposure to heat.

If you have worked intensively with an essence bottle (i.e., have held it in your hand for an extended time), reactivate the essence by briefly shaking it and letting it rest.

Which Application Method suits me best?
After you have selected the essences, you can decide on the best method of application.

Internal Use
This is the traditional, most recognized, method. The rule of thumb is to take 2 drops of the stock essence in the morning and 2 drops in the evening. The essence is absorbed through the mouth’s mucous membrane.

Water glass
This method is well suited to children or those sensitive to alcohol.

This method is also the best method for using essences with acute symptoms or for taking RQ5 (Rescue Remedy) or RQ7 (improved Rescue Remedy).

Place 2 drops from the stock essence bottle in a glass of water and sip it over the next half to one hour. You can repeat this up to 5 times per day, if needed, for 2 to 3 days.

Mixing and Diluting the Essences
You can dilute the stock essences by placing several drops in a mixture of water and alcohol.

Suggested mixture:  ¾ water, ¼ alcohol, and 4 drops of stock essence in a small bottle (1 ounce or 30 ml works well)

For a diluted essence, increase your usage to 4 drops, twice daily.

Mix essences by using as little as possible, and as much as necessary. The less you mix, the clearer the effect of the individual essences.

Due to their high frequency, you should only mix orchids with other orchids.

For external use, you can mix the essences in body oil, hair rinse, bath water, or creams. PHI Essences offers 5 different creams into which you can also mix other essences you have selected.

External Use
Just as through the mouth’s mucous membrane, the essences are also absorbed through the skin. You can apply the essences undiluted or diluted in water, mixed into a cream or body lotion, applied with a compress, or added to your bath water.

In this way, you can apply the essence to unhealthy skin areas or old scars, as well as the underlying tissues such as connective tissue, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels. Application to reflex zones, chakras, meridians, or acupressure points has proven especially beneficial. When using the appropriate essence, the flow of energy in your entire body is harmonized, and the functions of your organs are strengthened.

TIP: It can be helpful in a variety of situations to carry the appropriate essence bottle in your hand or place it on your body. This is especially true for the RQ7 Rescue Essence.

Compresses are often useful for burns, insect bites, bruises, or skin irritations from neurodermatitis. Avoid contact with open wounds. To a small bowl containing about 250 ml (about 1 cup) of water, add 4 drops of each selected essence. Soak a thin cloth in the water and lay it on the affected area for about 10 minutes. In acute cases, you may repeat the application until symptoms are alleviated.

Full-body baths are especially useful after a strenuous day. Place 4 drops of each selected essence in the bath water and enjoy your bath in comfortable water.

TIP: Enjoy a bath with Delph® essence in the bath water while listening to relaxing music in the background.

Room Sprays are an ideal use of essences. PHI Essences offers 3 pre-mixed sprays. You can also add other essences that you may have selected to the spray bottle.

New Holistic Light Treatment in combination with essences (HLT)
This unique method combines the action of the essences with the corresponding light, color, and sound frequency. Since the year 2000, PHI Essences has been developing this method, which has achieved outstanding results. More information is available at www.health-houses.com.

Addiction to Essences?
Even after long-term use of the essences, you will not become dependent on them as some people fear. It is a very natural thing to find that your essence bottle is very important to you at the beginning. The better you start to feel after taking it for a while, the less you will think of it. When you have forgotten to use the essence, then you usually no longer need it.

Important – Patience!
“Miracles take somewhat longer”, so please don’t expect all of your difficulties to evaporate into thin air overnight! After all, this is not about relieving symptoms, but about a long-term therapy that removes layer upon layer of problems to reach the inner core.

Treating Others without their Knowledge?
Repeatedly, customers ask the following question. “My husband really needs this essence; can I mix it in his coffee?” The answer is absolutely not! It is always important to respect other’s free will. When you have an experience in which you clearly see how you can help someone, you may offer that help. However, you must also respect the other person’s choice to follow your suggestion or not.

Interactions with other Treatment Methods?
Essences are natural products without side effects. Therefore, you can easily combine them with other treatments. They complement other treatments in that they support the natural healing process.

In our opinion, homeopathy and flower essences complement each other very well. The flower essences can minimize the initial reaction that sometimes occurs with homeopathic treatment. Simultaneous treatment should address similar topics.

Radioactivity
The T1 essence used together with the Delph® essence helps guide radioactive isotopes out of the body. Many measurements with Geiger counters and patient reports have indicated this. You can use the essences after any exposure to radiation or after each chemotherapy treatment.

Sit in a chair, and take off your shoes. Place the T1 essence bottle between your feet so that both feet touch it. Hold the Delph® bottle in your hand and hold it for 1 minute as far above your head as you can reach. Slowly, bring the Delph bottle down the front of your body, following the cleansing process occurring in your energy field, all the way to the tips of your feet. This takes about 10 minutes. You can use a Geiger counter to check the process since radiation cannot be seen or felt.

Cleanse the bottles after each use. You can either shake the bottles and blow forcefully over them or hold them for 10 minutes under running water.

Pets
The effect of the essences is especially noticeable when used on animals. Often, animals sense intuitively which essence they need. Otherwise, use your pendulum to select the necessary essences. Put 2 to 4 drops of the essence in their water bowl or let the animal lick it from your palm. You will be surprised at how quickly the essences take effect.

Plants
You can also use the essences on your houseplants or plants in your garden. As with animals, test which essences the plants need. Place 4 drops in a liter of water. You can either spray or water your plants with the mixture.

TIP: Near Winterthur, Switzerland, instead of chemicals, Deva Orchid and K9 essences were applied to fruit trees. The treated trees were resistant to all diseases whereas the untreated trees in the neighborhood became diseased. For agricultural applications, this treatment method is cost-effective and free of side effects.
