Noble Heart Cactus

(Stenocereus marginatus)

It is usually found in Mexico forming a live fence, a task that plays perfectly considering its 4m tall. It is also used as raw material to produce the traditional hats of this area. This cactus grows forming very straight ribs, so it is also called marginatus. It does not always present thorns but when it does, they are placed among the areoles. Its green flowers open at night.
