Radiation Protection Cactus

(Cereus peruvianus)

The Cereus peruvianus comes from Brazil. This cactus of columnar stem can reach 6 to 7 meters tall and, as time goes by, it ramifies. Its branches can have 30 to 60 centimeters long. At the beginning they are blue and then, they turn into green. After the sunset, its big white flowers open for only one night. They are about 15 cm long. Its intense and pleasant perfume seduces moths that become its pollinators.
