Cactus essences reflect how a living being interacts with his environment. They can energetically help us face external demands and show how we can behave when we are in distress. Cactus essences energetically penetrate to the core of all problems. These may be difficulties with the closeness of others, around skin contact or intimacy and sexuality, or further, with money problems (which certainly may reflect ”only“ an exchange problem) or, more generally, dependency issues. We experience our first, existential survival dependency in dealing with our mother, to whom we are connected first physically, then energetically more closely connected than to all other people.

Dependency and independence in terms of people and external standards is shaped by our basic experience with our own mothers and influences during the multiple developmental processes we go through from childhood to adulthood. In this journey, and again and again in our lives, there may be disturbances in the holistic state of health, which call for clarification and release.
The cactus like no other plant has tremendous power to grow and survive, even in an adverse environment. The cactus can live very long with little nourishment and yet it creates most beautiful blossoms. Make use of these invincible cactus qualities contained in our essences.
