Smoky Quartz is a silicon dioxide that can range from opaque to translucent. It can be found in various colors, ranging from brown to black, smoke gray or light gray. It often presents rutile inlays and it usually forms crystals. Since ancient times, smoky quartz has been considered a protective stone.
